De meeste aardbevingen die hier voelbaar zijn, zijn kleine, door gaswinning veroorzaakte bevingen in het noorden, en elders komen af en toe natuurlijke bevingen voor, zoals de aardbeving met een kracht van 5,8 bij Roermond in 1992.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"lb-post-p e-paragraph-base e-default-p\" data-interaction-id=\"3844d073\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"3844d073\">De meeste zijn licht, maar ze kunnen oudere gebouwen beschadigen en mensen laten schrikken. Weten wat je moet doen haalt de paniek eruit.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-interaction-id=\"49cbf9f6\" class=\"lb-post-h2 e-heading-base e-default-h2\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"49cbf9f6\">1. V\u00f3\u00f3r een aardbeving<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"lb-post-list e-paragraph-base e-default-p\" data-interaction-id=\"7d566632\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"7d566632\"><ul><li>Zet hoge meubels, boekenkasten en zware spiegels vast aan de muur.<\/li><li>Zet zware voorwerpen op lage planken, niet boven bedden of banken.<\/li><li>Weet waar de afsluiters van gas, water en elektriciteit zitten en hoe je ze gebruikt.<\/li><li>Zoek veilige plekken in elke kamer: onder een stevige tafel, of tegen een binnenmuur uit de buurt van ramen.<\/li><li>Houd een noodtas, zaklamp en stevige schoenen naast het bed of de voordeur.<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-interaction-id=\"526b5e45\" class=\"lb-post-h2 e-heading-base e-default-h2\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"526b5e45\">2. Tijdens het schudden: laat je vallen, zoek dekking en houd je vast<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"lb-post-list e-paragraph-base e-default-p\" data-interaction-id=\"7da5f514\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"7da5f514\"><ul><li><strong>Ga door je knie\u00ebn<\/strong> en steun op je handen.<\/li><li><strong>Bescherm<\/strong> je hoofd en nek met je armen en zoek beschutting onder een stevige tafel als die er is.<\/li><li><strong>Houd je vast<\/strong> tot het schudden stopt.<\/li><li>Blijf weg van ramen, spiegels, hangende voorwerpen en hoge meubels.<\/li><li>Ren tijdens het schudden niet naar buiten. Vallende dakpannen en glas vormen het grootste gevaar.<\/li><li>Ben je buiten, ga dan naar een open plek uit de buurt van gebouwen, bomen, lantaarnpalen en elektriciteitsleidingen.<\/li><li>Zit je in de auto, stop dan op een veilige plek uit de buurt van gebouwen en bruggen en blijf binnen.<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-interaction-id=\"5edbbd74\" class=\"lb-post-h2 e-heading-base e-default-h2\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"5edbbd74\">3. Na het schudden<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"lb-post-list e-paragraph-base e-default-p\" data-interaction-id=\"17c4c7c2\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"17c4c7c2\"><ul><li>Controleer jezelf en anderen op verwondingen. Geef eerste hulp en bel <strong>112<\/strong> bij ernstig letsel.<\/li><li>Ruik je gas of hoor je een sissend geluid, open dan een raam, draai de toevoer dicht als dat veilig kan, verlaat het gebouw en bel van buitenaf. Gebruik geen schakelaars of vuur.<\/li><li>Controleer muren, schoorstenen en plafonds op scheuren. Ziet het gebouw er onveilig uit, ga dan weg.<\/li><li>Verwacht naschokken en wees klaar om je weer te laten vallen, dekking te zoeken en je vast te houden.<\/li><li>Gebruik de trap, niet de lift.<\/li><li>Luister naar de radio of NL-Alert voor offici\u00eble informatie.<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-interaction-id=\"f234573\" class=\"lb-post-h2 e-heading-base e-default-h2\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"f234573\">4. Schade melden<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"lb-post-p e-paragraph-base e-default-p\" data-interaction-id=\"1fd8389e\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"1fd8389e\">Maak foto's van eventuele schade voordat je opruimt en bewaar je verzekeringspapieren en telefoonnummers in je noodtas.
